Walter Brooke is involved in the design and delivery of Keystone Adelaide, a landmark mixed-use development located at 254 North Terrace in the heart of Adelaide’s cultural boulevard. The project brings together the revitalisation of the historic Grand Lodge of Freemasons South Australia with a significant tower that will contribute to the city skyline and establish a key destination within the city.

Inspired by the values, beliefs and traditions of the Freemasons community, the development seeks to celebrate the organisation’s rich history while creating new opportunities for public engagement. The heritage Grand Lodge is being carefully restored and reimagined through the integration of hospitality, cultural and public uses that strengthen its connection to Adelaide’s civic and cultural life.

Rising above the heritage building, the tower incorporates a Westin hotel, premium residential apartments, wellness and hospitality offerings, and a publicly accessible observatory providing panoramic views across Adelaide.

Walter Brooke has played a key role in shaping the project’s vision and architectural and interior design direction. The design balances heritage significance with the aspirations of a growing city, creating a destination that respects the past while contributing to Adelaide’s future through thoughtful, sustainable and enduring architecture.
