Salisbury Command Fire Station

The South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service has developed a planning strategy based on an extensive review of the 30 Year Plan for Greater Adelaide. Potential risks within the Northern and Southern Metropolitan Zones have been identified which require planning of future fire stations and response needs.

The first project constructed under the Northern Metropolitan Plan is the Salisbury Command Fire Station. This innovative fire station design includes 4 Appliance Bays,  accommodation for an Area Commander, a Major Incident Control Centre, Technical Rescue training areas and an Emergency Services Staging Area. It will significantly increase the service delivery to the area whilst also providing key support to other emergency services agencies. Environmental initiatives include 30kW of solar panels, rainwater and stormwater storage, and a focus on South Australian products and suppliers.

Project almost complete, more photos and updated project information to come.
